By popular request we are repeating this concert from eight years ago.

Henry, son of James I, died at 18 of typhoid fever. He was admired and liked by the population as a whole and his death was a huge blow to the country. He would have been Henry IX and on his death the ill-fated reign of Charles I became the heir apparent.

  • Morley – Funeral Sentences 1
  • Byrd – Come, to me grief for ever
  • Ravenscroft – Remember, O thou man
